problems starting

i dont understand it, maybe somebody can shine some light.
first let me tell you what its doing, it only does it after its been sitting in the cold for 4+ hours
when you try to start it, it just cranks and cranks but wont start and after you have cranked it 3 or 4 times then it will start but bogs down when you touch the throttle, keep doing that feathering the throttle a few times and it will then idle but you still cant put it in gear or it will die, if i let it idle for about 5 mins, or so then i can drive it but very little power after the temp gauge comes up it runs fine no problems at all, at first i thought it was the tps changed that didnt help, so i changed the map sensor didn't help, then the silinod on the back of the throttle body that didnt help either, now im fixing to change the crank/ cam sensor (idk) which one it is, please if anyone has had this problem HELP

oh yea the truck is a 1995 dodge 1500 with the 5.2l mpi and auto transmission

Sounds like an injector is jacked up. Not a gas engine but I had the same symptoms you describe on a 98 Dodge cummins. The #6 injector was not spaying when cold. Once it did fire and warm up it had no problems.

we put a fuel pressure gage on it and it holds a constant 44psi. even after it starts i rev it up to 4000rpm and while the rpms are going up it kinda drops to 43 but doesn't make it all the way which seems off to me usually you'll get a 2 or 3 psi drop during the rev but not on this one stay right at 44 all the time, I'm stumped its driving me nuts ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
it sucks have to go start trying to start my truck 30 to 45 mins before i have to leave for work,
I'm going to pull the injectors tomorrow see how they test

think i just found the problem even though the battery shows to have 11.8 volts its only putting out 530 amps (its a 1000 amp battery,) so my guess is every time i go to start it, it draws from the system and resets my ECM, going to get new battery well see if I'm right
