JEEPERV89 just gettin started
sm465's and 435's

Im planning on a drive train swao in my scout. Im looking to go chevy or ford. I was wondering which years and what trucks I should be looking for at the bone yard to get the hydrolic clutch set up?

85+ had hydro clutches on the chevys. Not sure on the fords, but I know they had them in the mid 80s. I've seen a bronco with a hydro clutch, I think it was an 85.

Wow thats a pretty clean looking scout. Got any other pics? I F you got any of the engine bay that would be cool. I have a 74 that Im wanting to restore with the 304. It is the one I was thinking of doing the chevy DT swap. But I may just bite the bullet and rebuild the 304.
