![]() hey guys i have a 22r with dual transfercases. i just changed the clutch, master cyl, and slave cly. i took it out wheelin and after a hard day of wheelin i tryed to go up a small ledge that i normally would have no problems with and it got half way up and acted like it had no power... engine rev but no wheel spin, i let it cool down and it was fine then it warmed up again it started doing it again. i mean i can climb up a telephone pole but it is wierd. do y'all have any ideas??? i tore it all apart and the fly wheel is fine and the clutch is fine. im at a loss here. mybe i didnt bleed the clutch all the way????

clutch is slipping when it gets hot. check your pressure plate for fatigue, I know you just replaced it but that is a symptom of a bad pressure plate.
Is your clutch hydro or manual? Any binding or interference in linkage \ lines?

Did you resurface the flywheel before you put the new clutch in? I know I have screwed up a clutch real quick by not resurfacing the flywheel, eventhough it LOOKED ok to me.......
...just a thought.....if not the clutch is toast...

the clutch is hydro and i looked at the fly wheel and im not sure if it needs to be resurfaced, i didnt get any "chatter" or vibration i heard that scuffing up the fly wheel with an emory pad might help though. the pressure plate is fine i checked that and all the bearings I changed and are brand new. i also changed the master cyl and slave cyl so they are new and i looked for anything interfering with the lines and nothing

o yea i only have 90 hp.... a stock clutch is $70 where as a center force is $270 for two hundred dollars i think that the problem lies somewhere else! lol poor college student here!
