Toyota Tundra t case doubler options???

I am looking to get a Toyota Tundra...ripping the body all off and tubing it out! I could run either drop axle Ford or Chevy!! Gonna run 42's, keeping the 4.7 Iforce and auto trans!! I have looked at the lefty t case. Are there any other options out there to make a doubler?? Don't know much about the Tundra trans!!

x2, i think that would be the only way to go is to use a gear drive tcase and go with a yota or chevy axle.

Man really! I dont care if you upgrade every shaft in that case. Your just going to have time bomb on your hands. Slap a stak's or atlas in it.

I run a rig with v6/tb350/and yota doubler in it. And its my weak link. But i have a ton of gearing at the axle. Everyone thats went v8 on gear driven yota case have swopped them out.

If I could afford an atlas or stak, you could bet your *** I would have one and this thread wouldn't be here! I have 5.86's in my axles! I don't have to run them if I don't need em!

I would think with a v8 and an auto you could get away with a single case with 4.7's in it. With that gearing in the axles you should be fine.

Have you priced out a t-case with all the Longfield upgraded shafts, plus a gear set and a trans adapter and build time. I bit your not far off from a basic after market t-case.

Thing is most guys ive run with. That are die hard yota guys. Started off with basic tbi-350's. No were close to your horsepower.

This build will take a little while, so maybe I can rake up enough to buy a used Atlas or Stak!! Will have to see, need 4 coilovers also. So I have some money to save up!!

I just read the pirate rig built. Thats a cool rig. Id like to know what it weights. That probly why its still alive. It has to be super lite!!!!
My rig is 4300pds with 85 frame, rockwells, 42"s/H1's and tbi4.3/tb-350.
