Turbo 350 to dana 300 ??

So far I cracked 2-tranny's at the same spot, upper right bolt hole corner,

question is how are ya'll mounting yours any extra bracing ?

only thing I can see is im not running a Torque mount..

it all started when I put in the 4 to 1??

anything you got will help (pic's)

i have no basis if this will work or not, but my plan is to try and use gm style mounts the same width apart as gm designed. using a gm trans, use a gm mount.



use either those or make your mount adapt to this one:




also something to consider is that do you have rubber motor mounts and poly trans mounts? the internet says that can lead to broken cases. the rubber is softer and the motor will moce but the tcase mounts are harder and will not deflect at the same rate. breaking the trans case.

There is a 1/4" plate mount between doubler & tcase. The mount has the 6bolt mounting circle & a 2" 90 bend that is used to bolt to the cross member.

I still think you need a support on the passenger side (rear) to offset the weight and torque of the front output. Similar to mine.

Then I welded tabs to the cross member to pick up the two bottom holes on the front output.
That's the two holes at the bottom on the left.

This supports the entire transfer case, and transfers the torque to the frame...
So well that I stripped out the terra flex 4to1 gears doing a front dig!
