As long as it's a pre 86 motor it will bolt right in. You should be able to you use the intake, carb, dizzy and accessories on whatever you put in.

Anything 87 and up will be tbi and require more work and a computer.

guess I worded this wrong kinda wondering what years would work I know that after 86 tbi was standard however I would not be against an external fuel pump if I had to and I have the intake carb and dist to change to carb. I know I do not want an lt1 or ls motor.
any more help?

Oh okay. Then yes any 350 you put in there except for the 96 and up vortec heads will take your intake. If you find a 87 up tbi motor it will work but you will have to slot the 4 center bolt holes on your intake so it will seal properly.

sounds great the more questions I can ask and resolve outside of trial and error the better.

what year was yours, what motor mount and fuel set up did you end up going with?
