336 motorcycle ride

Not sure how many of you know this but 336 is one of the best rodes to ride in the Texas Hill country. The only reason I bring this up is because this is the road you turn on to go to trees. The first one off of 41 where you take a left with the cattle gaurds.

If you keep going straight it will take you down to Leaky(about 20 miles) you will go over 18 cattle gaurds and have some sharp cliff side turns. The views are amazing. Not exactly idea for pulling a rig though.

I did this ride this weekend and froze but it was pretty cool. This is one of the three twisted sisters. So far I have done two and have one left. 337, 336 and have left 335. I am amazed at the hill country scenry these rodes offer. Just thought I would share.

LOL! You would have went straight off the side for sure. There are some parts that dont even have railing and the only place to go is down if you dont stay on the road. I would not pull a trailer through there to hilly and some pretty sharp hair pin turns.

Mainly posted for the people who drive there rigs to trees or those people that meet people there. Its a really nice drive. I would have never guessed that rode is one of the most desired rodes to ride on a bike or has the views it does.

under rated paved road in this area is 55 from Rocksprings to Camp Wood.

I guess it depends on what you like. 337 is my least favorite of the 3, but they are all awesome. I ride a sportbike, so maybe that is why I prefer the others. More technical. 335 is great. Ride it one way and turn around and go back. Feels like a different road. I prefer going north.

If you did and if you did it in the dark it must have sucked.

As far as riding the roads I still have the leaky 337 campwood strech and 335. I like them all the same right now.
