Anyone live by Beeville? Southwest of Victoria

Looking at a truck in Beeville (I believe thats how you spell it) Its southwest of Victoria about an hour according to the owner. Really hate to make the 6+ hour drive down there to check it out. If so let me know.....need to get it done ASAP. thanks

Seems to get a pretty good truck really. Was a little rougher than the pics looked to me but thats cool. Developed an oil leak on the way home.....looked like rear main but seems to have stopped..???? Got nearly all the way home and I couldnt get it in gear after being stopped at a redlight. It works fine if you are only traveling around town or less than an hour. I think the slave is bleeding by. It does need some work on it, nothing that any truck that is 13 years old wouldnt need. Has some rust through on the driver side rocker up by the front tire that I wasnt realy happy about but living up here will slow that way down till I get some money saved up to have it cut out and fixed. Man living that close to the coast really takes its toll on stuff.

Well its not a hole and I barely saw it. Paint was kinda bubbled up and I poked at it and it was soft. Clutch "feels" normal and you would know there was a problem unless you drove it several hours then tried to use it. Doesnt slip or make noise or anything. Its kinda weird. I dont normally drive it that far so Im just gonna use it till it quits. I drove 18 wheelers many a mile so I can shift without a clutch if I get in a bind somewhere.

98.5 Dodge Laramie 3500 ext-cab 4x4 dually. 24v witha 5 speed. 4.10 gears, full Ranchhand style replacements front/rear. Supposedly has a new lift pump and injector pump. Its white with tan leather interior but the seats are cracked. Has the factory dash crack but has the fitted OEM looking cover over it. Seems to be a decent truck with only 162K miles on it. It aint your grandpas truck that set in the shed all its lift but its pretty decent. Not modded out, all stock everything. Plans are some bigger tires 265/70-16 or maybe 285/75-16 tires mounted on black powdercoated wheels. Quadzilla Adrenaline with Pulse monitoring or Edge Juice with Attitude monitoring. Raptor 150 fuel pump, 4" turbo back exhaust and some nick nack crap. Window tint, good floor mats, spray in bedliner, smoked out lights, etc. Just something I can work on here and there. Plus the good thing is ITS PAID FOR!

I found a real nice 98 or 99(can't remeber what the guy said) faded paint but perfect interior, 4x4 extra cab 220,000 miles for $5000. Think I'll hold out till next year, pay down some bills and find something even newer. I like the ole 92 but she's hard on the kidneys.

Well I just remembered and looked at the title and found the previous owner in Corpus. His name is Terry Ellis and owns a backhoe company down there. I got a call in to him. Hopefully he will call me back and I can get some more info on the truck. Fingers crossed he doesnt tell me its a pile o shat.
