Back at it AGAIN!

Im back at it.....Sorry havent been around much. Wife decided last October she was going back to her ex and I had to jet out. Spent the end of 2012 getting ahold of myself, dealing with emotions and preparing for a divorce. At the same time I had to move back to my land/shop/apartment with no water, toilet, shower, or much electricity in the apartment part. It took a huge tole on me emotionally and financially but I came out on top and a better person. I snatched up a freaking awesome girlfriend end of February since after two wives and multiple girlfriends I kinda know what to look for and what NOT TO F'N PUT UP WITH!!! We are doing awesome! I showed her some crawling videos other day and she said "I wana do that!" Between that, talking to Old Goat, Mudgod and Bruiser I drug up a 88 4Runner other day with a locked up motor. Let the games begin. Good to be back around. Ill start a thread on it at some time when I got more to talk about.

LOL, Gee thanks! I had to have something with 4 seats to house kids (g/f has two). I really wanted a Jeep YJ I thought but got to thinking about it. By the time you put a fuel cell behind the back seat there is NO room really plus they are still really pricey for what I wanted. Cherokee was out, JK 4 door I couldnt afford for sure, K5 is too big, 4runner just seemed like it fit the bill. Found a 88 that was clean and complete with a locked motor. 5.3L/TH350/D300 on linked 60/14 bolt and 40-43" tires is where Im headed. Low and stretched.

See some things havent changed!

Im in no hurry on it really. Got a good woman that loves helping me with it. Not gona get burned out, trying to build this as budget allows. In past projects I have got myself in a bind buying parts because I find a good deal on them. What I have found is that one tons, tires, LS engines and even Atlas tcases come up on the good deal list every week. Some a little better than others but nevertheless.

I do have it completely stripped of the wiring harness, underhood non-needed items, dash pulled and everything under it removed and dash re-installed. Comp cut the front fenders and gona work on the back half next week.
