Let's go! A couple of us have wanted to go, but haven't been able to make time. When are you going next? I bet we could get a rockwell buggy and a one ton Blazer out there. My neighbor went a month or so ago and his story was that there wasn't much out there that was a challenge. Then again, he has an XJ on 33's and I don't know how hard he really runs.

a buddy and i have been thinking of driving over from lubbock to check it out. we had thought about stopping there a couple of months ago when we passed through with my tj, but it was already 11 and we had a few hours to go to get home.
we were planning on making a weekend of it and wheeling both days.

A very close family friend that eats, sleeps, and breaths wheeling went there this past summer.
I would trust this person with my life on even the most extream trail.
His take on the place is that the curbs at wal-mart would be more fun.
So I don't see much of a chance of a trip planed anytime soon.

Wheelerdude was out there a week or two ago. Once I get my buggy done, I plan on spending some time there considering it is right up the road from me.

If you were "sidehillin" on those curbs at wal-mart, you would be scared, we all know how much you dont like "sidehilling".

Been there in my Buggy... There is enough there to keep you busy for a day.
There are some serious steep climbs in the rock garden that will make your boys draw up if you got big enough ones to try them...
Just depends on how hard your looking and just how hard you wanna go...

The trails... Well... The last time I was there, there were about three of them that had some mild stuff to do...

I like to wheel at Clayton, and I wheel the rough stuff... Black Sheep, Slims Slope, Green Mamba Extension and KT's climbs, Etc..

This place is not Clayton..... But like I said.. if your looking for a place to wheel for a day... Its not that bad, and for alot of us... It's pretty close and the price is not to bad either.

Thats just my 2 cents...

considering that the park accually opened in late august to where you could go every weekend the place has changed completely from just 2 months ago...

the park is no clayton............its not tryin to be.....

the local "jeep" only club .....keeps complainin because they are all about the trail rating crap....there complaint is that a 2 or 3 tril usually ends in broke parts and stuck rigs.........

our 2's are really 3+'s, the 4s are really 5s and we have a few trails that challenge the best rigs......

the place changes with every rain.......

its not the best, biggest, most perfect place by anymeans but it can be fun for a day maybe 2

Bridgeport is no Moab of any sort but I will tell you that if your looking for challenges you can find one out there. The place is only 900 acres but Its all almost straight up and down. If you dont have fun out there your just not wanting to have fun. Either that or you dont want to tear up your rig, but whats the fun in that.

I'll have to PIG back to geather in a few weeks so this will be on my to do list since it's so close. Since Mitch won't ever have his buggy done and guess he can ride along with me.

My brother lives right around the corner and I need to go see him, so I can just bring the rig up and make a day of it....I'm in for a test run up there.

It's not bad! There's some shat back in the south end that would be tough for even well built rigs.

Yeah Mitch even you! BTW Good job on the baby at Katemcy!

I like Bridge port. It's a good local meeting place and it dosen't cost a grand to go wheelin for the day.
