so with this latest group of brake downs I'm so burnout and tired of fawkin with a trailer bound wheeler... what would you do

I've been burned out for about 4 years...it's been almost 6 years since I took my Blazer apart & it hasn't made it that far since. Take breaks, spend money on something else, then hit it again. I'm almost at the point of parting it out & getting a decent wheeler while keeping only the doubler setup.... What more is needed to finish yours up.

finish... its done ...my trailer and tow rig broke its the only 100% truck I got right now ... but it shakes BAD a 30 and up

Hey Joel,

I know exactly how you feel. I'm tired also. I've got work to do on mine, but my motivation is almost at 0%. I'm so close it sucks.

Hang in there. Don't quit. Just walk away for awhile. I know it's extra hard on you because not only do you have to look at your junk, but you work on everyone else's junk for a living and that has to stress you somewhat.

Don't sell. Don't quit. Don't give up. Don't stop. Just take a breather and hit it up again. Your just frustrated right now. That will pass and you can start fixing the problems.

Everyone suffers burn out from time to time. Just store it for awhile and do something else that is a complete 180 from anything automotive for your playtime. Something down the road will kick start the old memory's and you will just have to pull the rig out and go to re live them.

I need to focus on the DD and get it too 100% then fix the trailer brakes ... Maybe I should do the brakes first since it's so usefull for other stuff too M'mm to
do to do... But part of me want to put all the chromally soa hydro shiat off and put it on the DD and be a driver wheeler again

I say put the parts in a driver and wheel it like that. if you can trailer it go balls to the wall. driving it step it down and enjoy yourself. spend less on gas.....that's for sure.

Ok my problem I have 3 running project trucks and only 2 are street legal ... And of corse the most fun to wheel isn't streetable ...I won't sell my Brown Fj EVER but I keep puttin her on the back burner and well it caught up with me last week... Blow cooler line, used a gal of coolant ... Didn't leak it out just gone ... And the trailer brake went out so I missed out on my PAID FOR trip to Trees cause I couldn't get Pathes there .... so I ask should I even have a trailer bound wheeler or just my DD wheeler ... But I already think that's a bad idea cause I'm hard on my junk lol

Trailer Queens are the most fun. Unfortunately, expensive and more maintenance due to having the trailer and tow rig to maintain. Is it a cost issue or just fed up with constant repairs?

Is there coolant in the engine oil? Or is it getting burnt and passing out the exhaust? (you will see a sticky black residue on the body panels around the tailpipe that has a "sweet" smell to it like burnt pancake syrup.) Either way it sounds like a blown head gasket or at the worst a cracked head.

Easy fix on both accounts. Just one costs more than the other.

nope to all thats the crazy part ..... but I'm sure ita a blown head gasket and the guy thet "freashind" it wont return my calls its just more **** to redo

Sounds like a crack between a water passage and a cylinder in the gasket to me then.
