The old cummins I've been hunting

Been searching for a clean, straight, lower mileage 98-02 for a while now.

If anyone has ever been in the market then you know how RIDICULOUSLY HARD these are to find @ a descent price.

Finally found her up in Arkansas.

99 model quad cab 4x4
5.9 cummins
5 speed
150k original miles

So clean its silly. Body as straight as they come & imacculate interior.

Old man owned it and straight granpa'd it.

Here are some crappy cell pics from when i picked it up.

Brought it home, threw a 2.5" readylift kit on it, 20" incubus wheels with 35's, a billet grill & 4" stainless rolled tip

Interior

Good looking truck! With rims like that I guess you don't need a rainbow sticker for the window.

Nice find, congrats. Even if your price was on the high side, it would be worth it.

You would have loved my dads truck. 2000 model 3/4 ton short bed extended cab. Its two wheel drive, white, SLT, Cummins/5 speed/3.55 rear. 40 THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILES, GARAGE KEPT!!! Only pulled a fifth wheel a handful of times and a 18' farm trailer prolly 20 times. Its not really for sale but he wants a dually pretty bad.

So did you get a good deal, or did you grab your knees a little to get the one you wanted? Sweet looking truck.

I was blown away by this one.

Older man owned it and maintained it religiously.

its an 11yr old vehicle & the paint is still glossy, the seats arent worn, dash isnt cracked, carpets not stained,ect.. never smoked in (lighter has NEVER been used)

Hell it doesnt even have a GN hitch in it

Sounds like my dads....except his has 110K less miles. Nice truck and dang its clean! I looked an looked and looked. Im just too picky on color. White or silver is the only color vehicle I will drive. I ended up with a 1998.5 one ton 4x4 xcab dually, 24v/5 spd/4.10 gears. Its an SLT Laramie, white with tan leather interior. Its got 160k on it but its not a "clean little one owner, grandpa truck" for DAMMMMMMMMMMMM sure. Its gona be a work in progress.

sweet truck. very very nice. i was in the market for a long time before i found mine. and it was only a few miles from me. But i know i paid too much, and i'm ok with that. if i hadn't some body else would've come along and given him his asking price for it just because of what truck it is.
most in the cummins diesel world call it the "holy grail". '98 12v ext. cab (with opening rear doors) and the new interior. 5spd, 4wd, long bed. 112,000 miles CLEAN paint. and small cracks on the dash.

do you have any plans for power upgrades?

did you pay more or less than $10k?

Nice truck! Had my Duramax up for sale and I had planned on finding a 00-02 Cummins. Didn't sell the Duramax and now I'm pretty close to paying it off, so good thing I kept it. Just another year of paying on it

I have a pillar pod for 2 gauges if you are interested. Came out of my old 00 Dodge. Might even have the tranny temp gauge around here somewhere as well.

Cheap, beat up, high mileage are a dime a dozen.

Straight, CLEAN, lower mileage one owners for less than 10k are a different story
