I drove an 07 z06 vette last night!!!! Wow!

So in other words everything I have is forsale so I can buy one!!! LOL! HOLY SHAT that thing was fast. The last time I looked over at the speedo it was sitting on 150! Felt like 75. Then I got to drive it! Man they drive like a dream. I was doing about 60-65 and the owner was like drop it in 2nd and mash on it......OK, 85mph in 2nd gear tacked all the way to 7K then grab another and your doing 130 and I backed out of it. I got to have one! $45-50K for a nice, low mile used one. Start making offers on all my stuff. Motivated seller....LOL!!

Are they salvage title cars Josh? If the oilfield was doing what it was doing last summer I would go buy one tomorrow.

I love going as fast as possible whenever possible as much as anyone. Wonder why he has the chance to have so many WRECKED Zo6??????? Something about a car that goes 150mph but can basically have your butt 6" from the ground. I like a little more distance between me and pavement at 100mph plus. Good Luck.

150 was going around the corner. He said he has done 195 in it but didnt wont to do it after dark for the deer and stuff. I think the reason for the wrecked ones is that they are like a crotch rocket. You dont realize how fast your going.....felt the same in that Z06. Also they are made of fiberglass and magnesium so the least little thing and they are trashed.

Yeah, I would love to have a picture of that heads up display reading 150.....but I dont think I would have the balls to take my hands off the steering wheel to do it.

Not sure if they are salvage title cars or not. i know for a fact he has 5 yellow ones. 3 are z06's and hes got two red ones. and both of those are z06's i think.. one of the yellow ones has that wing and the low *** ground effects on it from the catory and the heads and almost overything steel or aluminum under the hood is painted yellow.. lol

Well, he buys them specifically from all over the country.. he also buys escalades, king ranch trucks, anything that is special he buys.. he has all kinds of random crap. but they have a team of like 10 guys that straighten frames, radiator supports, chassis, motor, paint, body, interior.. Its pretty cool...

i do 110 in my 1 ton pickup on a regular basis come on
z06's are slick car's i don't think they are as fun as a offroad rig.
i know alot of peopel who have had 10 and faster drag cars that got into offroading and said it gives them more of a rush and is way more fun.
i woudlnt blame ya if you got one though

Hell, I've done 140 in a 1974 pk up between Austin and San Marcos and loved it. Best 15min ride ever. My only concern was a front tire blow out. Good luck.
My 1999 F250 work truck does 115 fully loaded.

This is why I know have a drag car and a K5. Pick and chose what to ride.

Had a '73 240Z that would do 100 in 3rd gear. Still had 4th to use, never took it over 120 though, too squirrely after that.
