Awesome Bill

He's an all around good guy. Willing to help other people. He will not only fix your junk but he'll even paint it (my tie rod looked better than it did before I broke it). He has a nice little buggy and isn't afraid to use it to it's full potential.

I nominate Bruiser. He is an active mod on this site and long long time member. His build threads always have lots of pics and are fun to read.

I have never seen him get an attitude with other members online.

He is always quick to offer help when it comes to working on your rig or helping people move. Back when Old Goat moved from east texas to the other side of Fort Worth, Bruiser stepped up without being asked, went to Old Goat's house, loaded up his gooseneck and made the 4+ hour trip just to help another member out. To me that says something about the guy.

I can't tell you how many times I have had problems with a part and Bruiser told me to bring it over and he would help me with it. When I made my last move Bruiser offered to help me move. You can tell who your friends are when it comes to moving day.

When Bruiser starts a project he will not take that rig on the trails until it is ready to be wheeled. I have never seen a guy that puts that much in a rig. He wants it right or he will not wheel it. And the parts he uses are always top of the line, bling-bling. He is a venders best friend!

I'm sure I could go on and on about how great this guy is, what he does for this forum, and why he should be member of the year.

can we do two?

dott/midnightcrawler

they help out the fourhweeling community & out of the commmunity to help raise a eyebrow or two, to let people know this a great family sport. not, just a lot of yahoos
tearing up peoples private property.

they will lend a helping hand at any given point from trail rides to mass organized events.

sorry if we cant do two.

I would have to vote for Richard "MidnightCrawler".
Working with WFTW and being at the front line getting fund raisers for next years WFTW event. and even taking on this past year event.
First Class Stand up guy. Goes out of his way to Spread the word about WFTW.
For myself having Him and Rastus falling behind to make sure I got to and back from K-Rock 5 years ago. I'll never forget that.....and back then I was just a kid with a yoda nothing special.
Thanks Richard for lending a hand rather it be looking over or getting dirty.
You got my Vote.

Wow, with some many too choose from it is hard to pick only one, but I will have to cast my vote for:

Almeraz (Jorge Chavez)

1) Attitude: Jorge has always promoted a great attitude towards the hobby/sport of off-roading. He has been in major competions as well as a fellow weekend warrior. He always has a smile on his face and finds a way to keep everyone involved.

2) Helping Others: Jorge is always going out of his way to help others. Once recent incident is he went wheeling and towed a second trailer behind his to help a fellow wheeler. He also trailered it back home for that fellow wheeler since his tow rig was down. Jorge is always willing to help on the trails especially if someone needs a good spotter. One of the best may I add.

3) Regular Post: Jorge is always chiming in on news going on in the off-road community. Jorge has 1198 post and is always very neutral on his stands when it comes to the politics. A straight shooter.

4) Techinal Savy: Jorge has helped many individuals with quick fixes and permenant fixes regarding Rock Crawlers. Being involved with competion he has seen alot and is always willing to share his ideas. Again, his spotting capablities are also next to none.

Good luck to all and Thanks Kenny for a great forum.

Richard

I'm going to have to go with Donuts1.

He's one of the nicest guys to wheel with and has built more rigs then all of us togeather in the past few years. From screamin small blocks to fire breathing big blocks, and from light weight crawlers to fat heavy mudders he's done it. If the boy puts his mind to it he can build anything and everything.

He will step right up to give you a hand on the trail and is one of the best spotters around. He will go out of his way to keep you from pulling rope or taken the bypasses when it comes to spotting.

Here are just a few builds he's done

http://www.texas4x4.org/showthread.php?t=21767

http://www.texas4x4.org/showthread.php?t=21878

http://www.texas4x4.org/showthread.php?t=23288

http://www.texas4x4.org/showthread.php?t=28660

These are not including the two monster mud trucks he built for himself.

I'm gonna go with a different one than all of the above and say Mitch.. He is always willing to post up to help people with their builds (even at his own place). Also, he will help out in whatever ways he can in helping people send or deliver parts across this state, without asking for $$$ or anything in return. Mitch is always willing to help out with any tech related questions, and will not try to steer you 1 way just because of his thoughts, he will look at what it is that you want and help you get there. As for being a regular poster, well there is no issue there as I think the guy ison here 24/7.

if all wheelers did a quarter of what he does there would be no land closers.... the guy just keeps going .. WFTW , King of Trees all the fund raisers and events he's planned I bet he does more for fellow wheeler in one year that most of use do in ten... plus he is one hell of a spotter
