Only in MO

Only in the backwards state of Missouri would someone come up with something this stupid. I do like the headline though. "But if I go outside, I might offend the smokers"

I'll bite.... What is this stupid something you are referring to. The headline leads me to believe that its something amusing, but I'm left wondering what it is......

Didn't realize that the title was a link..... My bad, technology is NOT my friend

Thats ridiculous! But then again, its what happens when politicians and political correctness are allowed to run rampant without the decent, common sense minded folks standing up and saying, "Enough is enough!"

Any county that is dry probably isnt worth living in anyway. The bars here stay open till 2, not 1 like in Columbia. We have good bbq, and can get beef almost anywhere; for some reason MO has a fetish for pork. The Mexican joints arent that great either, even though they have real mexicans working there; what's up with that? We have air conditioning and arent afraid to use it (what's with the schools all letting out early because it's "hot"?). We have good music and the bands usually play late into the night. Texas restuarants/bars know what good service and tips are; I've only been to a few places in MO that had good service.

Now dont get me wrong, that area is nice, but it's not the place for me. I spent about 6 months out there last year and I'm glad to be back in the great state of Texas. I do agree with you on the statement about O****a though. If OK didnt suck so much TX would fall off in the gulf.lol

Lubbock is not a dry county. They used to be dry in the city limits, but that technically ended when they annexed the strip.
