Since this is a Friday night, take your new spouse to dinner around 6:00 PM at the Iron Cactus on the River Walk - Menu plates around $15-$25 and get a seat outside by the River Walk and watch the boats and vistors go by. Website attached - http://www.ironcactus.com/san_antonio.asp

After that, catch the 7:30 show at the River Center Comedy Club - event for June 13th attached - Spend about $25-$50 on drinks - Ask for VIP seating on front (tip host). Website attached - http://www.rivercentercomedyclub.com...th=6&year=2008

After that, take her on a boat ride on the river walk, from comedy club go down to river walk area and buy tickets and get on river ( $15.00/2 people). Website attached -- http://www.riosanantonio.com/content...sh/tours.shtml

Or you can take your spouse on a carriage ride downtown, link attached -- http://www.sanantonioriverwalk.com/tourism_horse.html

And of course, there always is the Alamo -- http://www.thealamo.org/

Hope this helps, congrats on engagement and good luck on a long and happy marriage.

Thanks man sounds great. Sounds like fun im sure she will enjoy that.

We were guna take a cruise but she kinda chickened out said it was rite at the
start of hurricane season and didnt want to do that so we kinda came up with this
so we could drive down not have to fly or anything.

My wife and I took a cruise out of Galveston this year and it was a blast. I would only recommend about 4 days, I didn't like being in one place for too long of a time. But overall the cruise was a great experience and we had a blast, especially at "Senor Frogs" in Cozumel, Mexico .

Good luck on your plans and hope San Antonio treats you well.

Im feelin ya on the not liking to be in 1 place to long that was my concern
with the cruise was being stuck on a boat all FN day, but im sure it would
be a cool experience

Just go to San Antonio and have fun! Every time I went, I just let my feet lead me around. No real criteria, just make sure you visit the the the..... crap I forgot the name of the place, it is the museum with all of the animals and guns. I am sure someone knows the name of it. That place is really cool.

Haha I took a cruise out of there about four weeks ago and swung into the Senor Frogs in Cozumel for a "little bit". Man that trip was too much fun or at least the parts worth remembering
