I've been craving red beans and rice. The closest thing here is Popeyes, and that just doesn't cut it.

no pics from me. but, did a little road trip today. 1st stop was luling, ate at city market
ribs awsome, brisket was alright & sausage sucked.
beans had awsome flavor.
price was really good.

i know for a fact my & other people on this board have way better brisket & ribs.

next week we will be at blacks & smittys in lockhart.

(we are doing the food channel bbq testing)

no. just hitting up all the bbq joints what were on the food channel & tlc channel.

city market, salt lick, blacks, krautz, smittys.

the one they should of went to is snows near austin. that is bbq nervana.
but you gotta be there on weekends at least by 8am.

i finally had a mustard bbq sauce. it was at city market. i need it to cover up the brisket. suace was good. but real bbq doesnt need sauce. only pullpork.
