just depends on the person and the wheeling style

Yep, if he is heavy on the throttle they won't last long at all.

being a master mechanic, he'll know how to fix the 10bolts ALOT cheaper then buying 1 tons .

That's my philosophy on the whole wheeling issue.

Run it 'til it breaks. Then either replace or upgrade. Too many guys seem to be sitting in their easy chairs waiting on bling parts to arrive to "finish their builds".

I've got three trucks right now that could be ready to wheel in a matter of minutes. They won't conquer 70% of obstacles I've run into, but I can at least get out there and participate. That means more to me than anybody's opinion on what I can or can't do in nearly stock form.

Unless it's your truck and your money I wouldnt worry about it. He'll learn on his own if/when it breaks.

Different people can get away with running different parts. I've been beating on the front 10 blt in my K10 for a few years with up to 36s, a healthy big block and heavy right foot. It technically shouldnt even still be in one piece the way I drive it, but the only thing I've managed to break so far has been a driveshaft yoke. Yet the 60 under my s10 had never seen over 200hp and 36s and has a twisted stub shaft that I discovered before the last run.

Well I would say hes toast as well but, Im actually in the same situation. I ran out of time and had to get the truck street legal or the city was going to reclaim it as scrap metal(TOALT BS BUT NOT MUCH i COULD DO). Im waiting on my sky highsteer arms and then ill give ya'll an update of the carnage. K20- 10blt w 4.10's and a auburn posi 30spl, warn premium hubs, highsteer x-over and 40 tsl's on a 12" rim. I plan on swap for a 60 by tHe end of summer but this will have to do for now.

I remember that truck

1st time I met Reddog we were @ the slab and he took off through a boulder field and I took in after him, he saw the 10 bolts later and he just shook his head. Never did blow them suckers up, weren't from lack of trying tho
