2.5 Fi to sbc carbed Questions
Last time I swear. I now have motor in hand and am definitely going with a sbc carbed for now pane later. I am going to try to run stock gauges except for tach. Using stock fuel pump/ sending unit in aftermarket tank and will regulate it down to required pressure. Using stock oil and water temp sensors worked over to work in sbc. Keeping stock lights dash everything.
That being said what all wiring can I cut out. Ecu will come out I know and most of wiring around engine. Will I need to keep the firewall connector and just terminate wires on engine side that I am not using. Or?
Best motor mounts? Been looking at Novak and More Bomb Proof and half a dozen others.
Block hugger headers or regular?
Have 2wd th350. Previously bought Dana 300 twin sticked. I know Novak sells shaft to convert it or is there a better way? Or hold out and find 205 or 203?
Have most of the parts now just got to start assembling it all and making it work. Hopefully selling most of my spare parts and can buy more parts I need.
