We went by after work today and saw a dodge parked on a trail near the 1st entrance that appeared to have unloaded a 4 wheeler. There are two sings posted @ the entrance near seawolf park though. I was out there a the weekend before the signs were posted and the cat that was playn chicken with me on a narrow trail near the south side of the island kindly moved off to the side as I tried to get of teh way and let me and my friends pass. We got to the end and saw a large excuvator digging near the shore and all the dirt and land tore up around it. Im assuming the other half of pelican island is still acessible considering it is mostly silt pits and uneven terrain. I guess theres only one way to find out possibly considering a trip there sunday after noon after i pick up my new doors and top. If you would liek to meet us let me know. I would love to go wheelin with yall.

Nice to see you have your truck running in a way your can enjoy it. I just got mine running lastnight and need to break in the rear gears. Are you and your dad comming down to the boatramp next friday? What happened to your dads ride? I'll take his front bumper if you are butchering it....LOL What happened to building the brown blazer? I'll have to get down there and go playing with you after I get the front gears done. Let your dad know I haven't forgotten about stopping by and replacing that contactor in the A/C and I need to pick up that 2 wheeler still. I have some bead lock wheels that would look good on your truck now that I went to 14ff.

Maybe we need to set up a webcam so we don't have to waste the $2.00 a gallon gas to drive there and find out. But knowing my Jeep, It's been known to wander no matter what the price.
