DOM in Tx

Whats the going rate for DOM in the major cities and/or surrounding areas?

Looking to buy a few hundred feet of 1.75"x.120 and 20ft of 1.75"x.188 and 20ft of 1.75"x.250.

Im back-halving my truck and will need to buy some tube soon. I can travel to pick this stuff up if the price is better somewhere else.

Im in the Houston area.

So I ask, whats everyone paying for DOM these days, and where do ya get it?

Damn dude. What kind of back half do you have planned? I've only got 250' in my whole buggy.

Nothing too crazy. I figured I would buy some more and use it up over time. Better to have more and not need it, then need it and not have enough.

As for the backhalf, something simple in the back, but also plan on putting a exo over the cab, then running it under the front fenders and build some sort of front bumper to tie everything together.

Plus ive never bent tube before, so I know im going to **** it up at least once. BendTech should help me there. v

For shits and giggles I got a quote from Ruffstuff, and he quoted be $3.75 per foot for 300 of 1.75x.120 shipped to a commercial address. $1125 shipped.

Can anywhere in TX beat that price?

JP Steel in Brookshire quoted me $2.88 per ft of .120 wall and $4.98 per ft for .188 wall DOM. This was for 300ft and 40ft, respectively.

Earl M Jorgensen (EMJ) metals is where I buy mine, unless Steel Supply on West Rd can beat them.
