Help with lift install?

I have a 2003 Rubicon with a 2 or 3 inch body lift. I want to take off the body lift and install a Rubicon Express 4.5 inch suspension lift. I have limited mechanical skills and have never installed a lift before. Anybody out there willing to give me a hand when I purchase the lift. I'm not a drinker myself, but I suppose I could be persuaded to provide some.

Edit: I suppose I should mention that I live just south of Longview past the airport.

Jeeps are for girls
And guys that wish they were girls.....

Automatic transmissions are gay.

Flipped up tow mirrors are the sagging pants of the truck world.

I can recommend someone who can do it for a fee (less than a normal 4x4 shop and does quality work) if you are interested in something like that? If so send me a PM. I would help but I'm staying pretty busy right now with my new job. I might be able to sometime the future, just don't know exactly when.

What happen to your Bronco II project?

Definitely interested in someone who wouldn't cost quite as much as a shop. I would like to do it myself....but my time is pretty limited too. I usually work 10 days on and have 4 days off. If I could get it done in one of my 4 day weekends that would be great. It'll probably be a month or two before I have all the funds together to get the lift.

The Bronco II is still sitting here looking lonely. I came across a sweet deal with this Jeep, and needed something for work. I work as a contract geologist looking for coal for TXU. In other words, I go off-roading nearly every day. The body lift is ok....but I need something that will give my axles a little more lift.

Sounds good. Send me a PM when you have the lift and are ready to install it on the Jeep.

Sounds like you have a great job!!!
