just seeing what would be offered for my k5

i have an 86 k5 totally street legal 500hp 350 fully built 700-r4 all the upgrades and ways to fix it with a new torque converter and a lock up kit from tci maybe 30miles on engine and tranny hasnt even been mudding yet that was just street driven. d44 front and 12bolt rear both 4.56. 6in lift with 3in body kenwood cd player brand new with ipod hook up highlift jack bunch of tow straps custom front and rear bumpers 8k warn d-rings welded on front bumper and 90% tread 37 boggers. oh yea and dixie horn lol probably few other things seeing what i could get offered for it, it has alot in it everything works all axle stuff is either new or been gone through give me some realistic prices here and she just might go one or two little rust spots like under the camper and one on the rocker thats it one little dent in the pass side fender let me know what yall think?

This is a rig that is for sale and he is down to $6,000.00 on it. It is worth way more than that, but the market is slow right now on Blazers and Burbans right now.

the engine is a 350 bored 60 over and fully blue printed and balanced the heads have been ported and polished and punched out 202 valves screw in studs full comp cam valvetrain 280 comp cam gear drive instead of timing chain comp cam lifters and springs and roller rockers edlebrock perfromer rpm intake and edelbrock 650 carb hedmen hedders dual 2.5 flows the transmission has been rebuilt all new clutches and steels corvette servo piston shift kit beast sun shell gear new planetarys tci lock up kit so the overdrive will work. it has alot of time and money tide in it. and like i said it has maybe 30 miles at the most on it i just havent had time to play with it

also some pictures.
one thing for sure is the axles will deter alot of people as they won't hold up to those tires and motor.

Here's mine...'72 Blazer, 350, 700R4, 203-205, 60-70, 44s, etc...I have a crap load of time (3 1/2 years) and money tied up into it...but I'd be surprised if I'd even get 10K for it.


So realistically, considering you have a built motor & tranny, t-case is whatever, body style is nothing out of the ordinary, 1/2 ton axles...I'd say $6K b/c it's up & running.

another example.
i sold my gem last fall. it was a 1990 with 200k on the original motor that still ran very strong burned no oil and had zero problems
had a 4 core radiator with a custom shroud for dual electric fans
new from gm 700r4 with a deep pan and temp gauge
new fixed yoke np241
dana 60 rebuilt with a detroit and 4.10 gears with warn lockouts with ord crossover
braced frame with a west texas offroad box setup for hydro assist
14 bolt with detroit and 4.10's caddy calipers disc brakes
had cvs front and rear
12k hydro winch.
new interior
fresh paint
fiberglass hood
33 bfgs and weld outbacks
very clean. i sold it for 6000$. it's hard to sell something like that and get what you put into it. especially with the prices of fuel

im just glad i sold it to my buddy who will take even better care of it. and is going to put in a build gen III motor!!

What heads? what compression? What rods? open or locked axles? are you sure 500hp? That's real hard to get on pump gas. I'm building a punched out 377 that will run high rpms and bearly run on pump gas putting out right around 480hp. I'll be running aluminum rods and DART heads.

Another example. Just sold my "baby" in my signature for $9,000 with over 700hp, rockwells and 44"s.
Goodluck but if you don't have to sell it, hold on to it for a better market for it. You will probly get much more for it later.
