Moving to Lubbock TX

I sold my business in Hobbs, NM today and I think I might try to move to Lubbock. Just wondering if anyone knew of any management positions open or maybe a 3 bedroom home for rent? I am also looking at renting a shop to work on the blazer if you might have a connection or know of some place for that. I was in Lubbock while attending TTU and miss living there.

You poor, poor man....

What kinda management you lookin for? There's lots of houses open right now, and there will be even more after this week (finals weekend and all).

I'll keep an eye out for ya, and there's a couple more of us here as well that'll do the same I'm sure. I'm looking for a shop space as well, so hopefully I can turn up some pretty good leads for you on that one as well. I have got way too much crap in my backyard and gotta get some of these projects finished up.

There's plenty of houses, it just depends on what your budget is. Me and a friend (LKJR) are renting a shop right now. I think it's $225/mo. for a 30x40 and 6 mo. lease. It's out near 114th and hwy 87, near the strip. There's a few diff. places in the 112th and university area and a couple up on north frankford. There's also some out on w. 82nd near wolforth.

Yeah, I wish there were more of them like that here too... most of them are buried in little strips of buildings where everybody and their dog has lots of crap sitting around out front. No real view from the street and generally trashy... I really worry about renting one of those, I don't mind so much parts going missing, but my tools I'm half scared to leave out there.

I did see a nice shop out off fm 179 past wolfforth that I really, really wouldn't mind getting a hold of, but the guy wants to sell the shop, plus a lot... no septic or water setup, plenty big for a house to be built on later for $50k... just outta my price range right now...

I am in Lubbock right now over on 102nd staying with the parents for a few days trying to get a job and some other things lined out. I think I have a line on a shop over on University / fm 1587 area (nice and close to the strip incase I get thirsty )

It will be nice to be back in Lubbock and hopefully I can get together with some of the 4x crew soon. If someone wants to partner up on a house or shop give me a shout. In the past I have just locked my mac box and anchored it to the floor. It would take some work to get it loose. After that I leave it in Gods hands. Always change or add and extra locks to any rental property also it seems to help deter theft also.

Just some insight on me incase someone is looking for a roomate 28m, divorced, no kids, non-soker, got tools, tow rig, trailer and blue heeler (because he was cheaper then another wife)

Yup couldn't have it on the streets of Lubbock except on a trailer. I got my cell changed for all those who knew my last one. It no longer works. New one is 806-549-6803
