Northstar V-8

Talk me into or out of using the fiance's now wrecked 96 deville's motor for the yj. She totaled it today and being it only had liability figure I can use ot on the jeep and at least get something out of it. Reading a bunch of info and having a brain overload already. Give me your thoughts.

Big thing with the north star is how light it is, but if your running rocks there's no point on whieght saving. Just trade it for a normal easy instal v8.

Sweet run it, narrow 700r4 behind it! With that gear ratio, torque should be good 295ftlbs @ 4400... 2000 Stall converter, 3.07:1 in 700 1st, 4:1 tcase, 6.72 rocks, 82:1 final drive, should be sweet!
