OUCH!!! That lockers gone.

Tore my front 60 apart today to get ready for the new 35 spline cro-mo shafts and see what went in the locker last week. Well so much for rebuilding the locker it is DOA.

After the fileings came out with the gear lube these pieces were left in the housing.

There's not a single piece that does not have teeth missing or chewed up. The only parts that were not harmed are the ring and pinion and the splines that the shafts slide into.

With all those chunks of metal floating around, I'm impressed that you didn't chew up the r&p too.

Wow, what are you going with now. Pulled my axle shaft today and had to grind it down to pull it through the spindle hole. After I get it back together I will be checking my locker aswell.

Yup! Pretty typical for when an axle goes on a Detriot most of the time so does the Detriot. JJ
