Out Back Off Road

Any good or bad comments on this shop? Like are they know to do good work? ect. They are know located off of bitters and jones maltsberger now. I am looking to have my gears done there, I talked to carl there and he seems very knowledgeable. Any feed back is apreacated.

Like all shops they have people that like them and people who don't.

Eddy jumped over from Wicked. I'm going on a year with my gears installed by Eddy. I have not had a problem with them, and I'm very happy with his work. I think he did an outstanding job.

I have always had reservations about Carl, but deals can still be had. He is a straight shooter, just a bit higher than I have wanted to deal with so far. But I'm generally a parts only type of guy, that wants to do his own work as much as possible

Thanks for the input shotgun, you are right about peoples preferences about shops. So does eddy work at out back off road now? I like doing most things my self to but I dont have the proper tools for a gear swap and buying the right high quality tools is expensive.
I bought my YUKON ring and pinion master install kit and carrier from a vendor on pirate 4x4 for cheaper then i had been quoted on a ring and pinion and master install kit. I have called and left a message with brutal off road before but no reply.

Diff Doctor? hum Is he located in San Antonio or remotely near? I guess i will have to PM bow tie to find out. I am looking for the installer to also weld up the spider gears in the open carrier. I know brutal is a great place i have sent a few people to them for cage work and i have called before and talked to the guys in the shop, very helpful and will tell you things other shop would not about vechicles they have built. Just i need to swap soon sick of pushing 39" boggers with 3:55's not metion the strain i am putting on my drive train.

The Diff Dr. -Tony still does some work but is a bit hard to get a hold of and normally only does work if you don't piss him off.

Yes - Eddy is working at Outback, has been for 2 months.
