Well I just picked up a little project tonight. Not sure what to do with it may part it out and may build it or I may yank off the stuff for spare for the Ftoy. What do you guys think? It is an black 87 Toyota 4runner, 22RE that blew a headgasket, W56 witha top shift tcase and an extra top shift for a doubler. The front IFS has been cut out already but I got a solid axle from an 83 Toyota with it.......funny how I used to own the extra front axle and top shift.....LOL! Anyway I have all the parts to put the motor back together, new head, timing set, front cover, oil pump, gaskets, radiator, water pump, etc, all NEW! I also got a set of solid axle leaf springs. I have a set of 4.7 tcase gears that Im thinking about throwing in there and a set of rear springs that were originally up front in the Ftoy to put up there. It already has the IFS steering box in it so Im ahead of the game there. Got nearly everything already to convert the front to SFA. Thinking about ditching the EFI for propane but might try to get it running first just to see if I can......there is just allot of stuff that I aint sure about since I did not tear it down. Post up your opinions, I got a ton of stuff running through my head on it from parting out to Rockwells........let it fly!hacck

Jeeps are not allowed out here, I would not ruin a perfectly good vehicle with a Heep.

Yeah like ya'll said it is no big deal on a time frame here. Before I fool with anything Im gonna try and get it running and then fool with the SFA. Man that EFI looks like a PITA, oh yeah that is why I JERKED it off the Ftoy and went to pane. I wouldnt mind doing that on this one but I would like to keep the heater, lights, etc and Im pretty sure the motor harness and the harness to run all that are all intertwined somewhere.

Well so far I have found a NEW complete set of 3/8" drive Torx and allen sockets, and a set of Klein wire strippers. Not to bad. I took inventory of what all I got and was really pleased. I found a receipt for the oil pump, water pump and I think the new front cover and it was $100 bucks. The head is brand new with a new cam in it also. I started transferring studs out of the old head into the new one. It looks like Im missing some front bolts that go to the water pump and the front cover but it was getting kinda dark in the shop so will have to see what all I got later. I got the front seat belts and seats mounted back in it. All in all it is a pretty nice little 4runner! It appears all stock down to the factory mud flaps, the wiring is not all hacked up either which is always a plus. 150K miles on the ticker. Leaving for a rig in the morning for a week or so, if I dont have internet will see you guys next week!! Later
