How small of a radiator can I get away with for my 4.3vortec?

Just for reference, I tried running a Toyota radiator and it didn't work. Had to order a aluminum 3 core equivalent..that worked..it was In a 81 Toyota trekker with a hot little 4.3

I'm gonna buy an aluminum radiator just tryin to decide if I can fit it In front of the engine

I used the largest electric fan I could fit. i had to take in account engine movement, at the time the avanced adapter moter mounts were crap.

Mine is from Speedway Motors, Its a full alum raditor i had to make sadle mounts for it. But i had the stock fan on it for a while. Now have a tarus fan on it. But its chopped down pretty thin.

It keeps my rig cool all the time. Sometimes in summer months, in none open trails i turn the fan on high.

My setup TBI-4.3/TB-350 and the doubler is in the stock location.

Ill send you a pm with my contract info. I can shot you some pics and details on it.
