Drop it down a few feet, put a stak in it to get your crawl ratio back and crawl the hell out of it. You know you want too!!!!!

If it goes half as good as the old Sonoma it will out crawl most of the purpose built crawlers (like mine) that are on this board.

I'd post some pics of my PIG in the rocks but it's hard to take pictures when you're driving at the same time. Maybe one of these days one of you cheap bastards will buy a camera.

Donuts that ol stepside you built was pretty cool, I remeber walking into your shop with OldGoat (you were out of town at the time, your wife let us check it out) and seeing those 54s mocked up. I just couldn't figure out why you were putting in a doubler for a mud truck. Didn't realize it would do the rocks so well.

One of the most recent pics from my last trip way back in April. It was on Stairway at the Longhorn Ranch a few miles north of Terlingua. Didn't get any from when it almost played dead in the real bad spot.

Maybe I can find some old pics from when I first got it. I will have to check and see if I can find them somewhere.

Way too big...lol! That guy shows up to some of the bigger mud rides and putts around. He recenttly put some 72" tractor tires on it. I think the ones in that pic were only about 65"s.

Yeah and his brake setup makes horrible racket and his square driveshafts don't hold up for anything. Good thing he don't get over 5mph.

The good o'days. It was painted all silver. and I did this spray can job for hunting.
6 or 7 years ago.

Found the Den.

rear dovetail and half doors.

Then the let down.

front dovetail dressed in black.

Truck grew another shifter along with cross over, hydro assist, high steer and so on.

stretched the cab, double bead locks and walla my old hunting truck grew up just a little.

The only pic I have of my last outing. Can't really takes pics in the drivers seat.

Mike

Since I've had the PIG!!!

This is what the PIG first looked like when it was dropped off in my yard by the old owner. It looked beat and every thing on it leaked. I was just going to wheel it like this until I got my other K5 done but as everyone else knows it never works that away.
K5.bmp

After a few long weekends and lots of BigTex, my Brother in law and my self transfered the ugly thing in to this. New H1 wheels with rockwell center, New boggers (damn they look good), new metal work on the bed, fresh coat of white paint, and a few odds and ends done to the drive train. O!!! I can't forget about that Pellat Stinger we slaped on her 3:00 in the morning!!!!
New.bmp

This was the first run I took the PIG on with it's new paint and body work. This was also my second to the last trip with my carb. Lets say we had a small bomb fire under the hood.
Hot Spring 027.jpg

This is how the old PIG looks now more than two years later. I've added Propane (best mod ever), rear steer to get her fat but around those tight corners, double triangalated 4 link rear, new axle seals, boots, boot gaurds, hydro rams front and back, new 5 point seat belt, and a lot of rock rash all over it.
tires054.jpg

This thing has been a blast driving and it always supprises me with how well it wheels being so big. I don't see many more trips in my future in the PIG since I'm in the process of getting a Zuki buggy built while at the same time I'm building a new rockwelled buggy with all the bling parts. The OLD PIG will make a great wheeler in the hands of anyone that likes to stand on the stupid pedal.

Gotta love the PIG! That thing is always there climbing the good stuff and cruisin back to camp when we're done, but I think you'll really like the new rigs you are going to have!
