Slow Rocker- help!

I need to add some pressure to my 4" Sway-A-Way 2.0 Racerunner Air bumps. What is a good number to start with? I guess with time they have bleed down some.

how much do you have in your shocks? i'd guess you would want more in the air bumps so it will slow the travel down. i've never had air bumps im just kinda guessin

I have been looking online and have seen numbers from 50 psi to 200 psi. Slow Rockr has been running his for a while, so I'm he can set me straight.

Most of the time I drive to slow to really use them, but when I haul *** I love them. This is the smoothies rig I have ever been in.

I think I'm around 125-150 in my shocks. I just now got everything to play with that stuff. Bottle and reg anyway. Still need a tool to add the nitrogen with so I don't loose any when I check the psi in then.

It kinda depends on how hard your hittin them and how heavy your rig is but I'd start at 250 and go from there. Ours get hit kinda hard so we usually run 300-350.

About 2". They don't even touch the axle when I'm flexing. Just driving down the trails.

Not a very good shot, but on the rear passenger side the air bump isn't touching the axle and it isn't all the way out. So, I know the pressure has leaked out.

If you just bought them and threw 'em on and liked it put 200. That's what they come with out the box, otherwise put 250 in and I bet you'll be fine.

Cool! Thanks I'm looking for a ball park number and that should work. My buddy told me to do 600 psi and I thought that was a little much. I got a air hose that would handle 5,800 psi anyway. I guess now I can charge my shocks with the full weight of the rig on them on. lol J/K

They are just short air shocks, you can go up to 500 max. Every PSI is worth if my memory is right 1.125 pounds of spring rate. I have my sheets in my tool box but I think that's right, I'll edit if it's not. Tuning/rebuilding air shocks is easy, just gotta get over the initial WTF am I doing. lol
