Warranty and Programmer on Ram 2500

Hey Guys. I have been shopping the new Ram 2500's. Specifically a 2013-14 as I like the new tech packages. Anyway, I have found a really nice used one with only 9k miles. Question I have is the truck has a lot of mods including a programmer, intake, and exhaust. I like all that being there but how does it effect the warranty. I would hate to void the warranty. The salesman told me depends on what dealership I take the truck to as to whether they decide to report to programmer?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What year is it? Last I checked, nobody had unlocked the ecm in order to do the deletes. I think bully dog had come out with something, but its not a programmer. You have to send in your computer.

As far as warranty work and what will be voided depends on if the mods caused the part to fail. Dodge has to prove that the part failed due to the programmer, exhaust, intake etc for them to not cover it.

Mostly comes down the the dealership that you take it to have the work done. Some are mod friendly and others are not.

I've got a 2010 3500 with an H&S tuner and a few deletes and have had no problems out of the dealership I go to but I've also only had minor problems like a bad mirror motor and ac damper motor. If I had a head gasket fail or a tranny go out I'm pretty sure it would be coming out of my own pocket...

2013 and 2014 trucks are in a different field by themselves since they don't have much to offer as far as delete kits go.
