Weight of a D-44

Does anybody know the weight of a Fully Dresses out D-44?
Also what company would you use to ship it to Borden, On Canada?

The quote I have from UPS freight right now is $1029.00.

Ship it to here http://www.forwardair.com/locations/falocations.htm using Forward air. You can call them and get a quote. May be cheaper to keep it in the US and make the Canadian guy do the legwork. You can ship it to Buffalo, New York also with Forward Air. Make sure you figure the weight of the crate also, I would figure on 350#'s dressed out in a crate.

I just need a weight so I can get the quotes. The canadian guy sent the first PM, so I'll him turn it down first because of the shipping. He must know it will cost a lot coming for the US.
I'm sure someone knows for sure on the weight will post up soon, or I'm be forced to ask in the newbe section of that other web site and get flamed. lol

I looked on Pirate and a guy said his HP44 out of 7X F250 weighed 386 lbs. Add 50 for pallet/crate and call um up.

I had a fully loaded Dana 44 shipped from Great Lake OffRoad in Indiana to So.E. Tx cost 175.00 it was shipped truck freight, I had to pick up @ the Saia terminal, if that helps. It was a month ago, UPS is insane on there prices

Forward air was cheaper than anyone by far last time I checked. But the trick is: how far to a terminal from the axle and will the seller (you?) drop it off. I don't think FA does door pickup.

I would use 500 lbs for guestimating purposes with Forward Air.
