Shes leaving (not that lucky)

I would day TJ because the ride would be better with the coil suspension.

87 Sammy Jeep 4 banger, 420-300, Wagoneer Dana 44 Axles, 5.89 Gears with spiders front and rear, Custom cage, J10 front springs, four-link with quarter elliptical springs in the rear, 36 inch Goodyears with H-1wheels, stretched the wheelbase
Homemade buggy on ROCKS and one link w/coilovers, four-wheel steer, 350-465-3.8 ATLAS still need to get the skins done but decided to take a break from working on it all the time and wheel it.

Jeeps are for girls, so I don't see a problem here, I got my wife one (don't tell anyone, but I sometimes have fun wheeling to in it's stock form) just add all Chevy stuff.

As long as you are building a true wheelin rig, I agree. Find a 4 cyl with a million miles on it, then swap in the powertrain of your choice. No sence spending extra money on a low-miles 4.0, when you can find a Chebbie fan-to-output yoke setup for less than the difference.
