I saw Some pretty big red fish jumping out the water at Braunig Lake.

no fresh water for me.(boaring)
all salt water thats the way to go.
hook a big red, tuna, shark & even better do some sailfishing & you never
ever go back to fresh water.

Man does that bring back memories. I sold my Skeeter last year to build my jeep and all I use to do was fish at both Brauning and Amistad. But I wouldn't change it, I got hook on wheeling for now. Catch some for me.

not true imo we used to fish for strippers off sandyhook in the morning and large mouth in the afternoon.
we catch and release anything under 5lbs unless it was salmon(oswego ny)

my dad tells me my grandpa used to do that (noodling) back in the 1930s-40s in carrollton up by the trinity river dam. just wade in, scrounge around, and pull em out.

Dirty Jobs on Discovery showed a thing on that. It was some neat video. My grandfather said it was easy, but he got a big scar on his belly one time when a big cat bit him and pushed him to the middle of the river.
