Any of you guys have any information on these lakes? Brownwood's most likely my target as I've gotta help the in-laws move out that way (let them pay gas for my fishin' trip, hehe), but I drove by the other two a couple times each this past week and was just curious as to what they were like.

Of course, compared to the puddles we have here they looked pretty darn good. What's the fishing like? Water quality pretty good (i.e. are my kids gonna get a rash if they go swimming?)? We've had nothing but golden algae in the lakes around here so any fishing's been bad fishing.

Go to www.txfishing.com

There site will have fishing info on almost every lake in Texas, plus coastal fishing.

Hmm... that worked. Thanks snick. The "Runaway Bay" one is actually Lake Bridgeport. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to check that one out one of these years. Maybe it was just the free boat launch and parking, but it caught my eye.
