Question Considering 4x4 club

I've been kicking this around for a while now and wanted to see if there would be any interest in it. REVOLUTION OFFROAD, is the name of the 4x4 side of my custom paint shop but would also make a decent club name. The name originated with my desire to "combat" the small size 4x4 craze that's sorta going on, and as such, we specialize in 70's and 80's full size Chevy solid axle's.

The membership would be open to all type's of rig's, but ribbing would be naturally, and good naturedly focused toward the non Bowtie owner. Group meet's and wrench session's could be part of the "to do" idea list.
Like I said, just kicking around idea's and looking for input and interest. I don't know how time consuming this idea could get so maybe I'm unprepared, but it seem's logical to get a bunch of 4xnut's together and see what happen's.

Just thinking about local is all. Southern High Rollers mainly in Dallas? Not trying to reinvent, just put together local problem solver's who love 4x's

I was really impressed with what I saw on the Southern High Rollers site as well, but like you said 54Inches, pretty much all Jeep's in population. I've got a place that can make the windshield banner's for us at the right price. Ok, so three, counting myself, at the moment.

I know of 4 or more 4x4 clubs just in the spring area alone.
Southern high rollers was based in the Woodlands.
Tx4wd Tomball/Conroe chapter.
Spring creek mud freaks.
Cypress offroad.

there are more that I can't think of right now.
Tx4wd T/C chapter is pretty much the hardcore group of Tx4wd,I am sure Hatch can vouch for me on that.

I know quite a few folk's that belong to Mud Freak's, all real great people. I'll take your word about the hardcore wheeler's, maybe not the club for my rig. Don't get me wrong, my Blazer is in no way a shine/ show truck. We go out and play pretty hard at time's, just not enough to really mod the body to extreme. Gonna build another Blazer for that.

need to really get a group of guys down in the SE Houston area. There are so many people that get together up north but seems the guys down in SE don't take the time or effort. Real sad because there are alot of great guys all over the place that have knowledge, skills, time, tools or just need to meet other wheelers for bbq's, rig help or anything else. Just my .02

Muddslinger, Wish I could get south more often, just can't seem to for some reason. But, if you need a wrench session at a yard with a bunch of space let me know. BBQ optional. And your .02 is well appreciated. Like the Blazer by the way, really shows the work you've put into it.

Sound's good Rugger. There will be a post put up when this whole thing is put together, ought to be a meet and greet wrench B.S. session with maybe a BBQ or something. Just an all around get together. Any cooler day's in mind for this guy's?
