Thumbs up Meet and Greet/ Workday For Houston area Wheelers

I was thinking about putting on a meet and greet/ possible workday in my shop. It has room for six possibly seven trucks, with a hydraulic lift in one stall, welding equipment etc...you get the idea
We used to do this when I was in one of the diesel clubs and it was really nice to meet some new people and exchange stories and ideas. We would light up the grill and do burgers or dogs. If anyone is interested in doing something like this let me know.

Depends on what weekend, if I am in town I would at least stop by and say hi -- I would not have my truck to do any work but I am sure I could hand a few wrenches or s to someone in need It would be nice to meet some folks!

Yeah yeah I know -- but I only know about Yota axles and besides my labor charges are not cheap

Well thats why I put it out there to even see if there was any interest in doing this. I have not even begun to set a date or time. But I am open to any suggestions.

I am in Houston usually on the 1st and 3rd weekends. But this next month will be a bit different - 2nd and 3rd weekends.

I was thinking maybe in September or late August, when it cools down a bit. We had an event in August last time but it was so HOT that almost nobody showed up. So does anybody else have a project that they have been wanting to get done but either don't have the help or the tools to accomplish it? I'm offering a fully equipped performance/offroad/fab shop at your beck and call. Hell, I can probably even get my guys to come in and help out also.

Hey, if I get enough intrest we can do it whenever the majority of the ones can make it. I just know how HOT!!! it can get in August, but it don't really matter to me either way. So far I've only heard from two people who want to do this. Anybody else?

I'm game for meeting some local enthusiasts if it falls on one of the weekends I'm home (work out of country).

Too many projects and not enough time...

I'll be down working over by Alvin the rest of the summer, so if I can brake away from the rig I'll come over and help some.
