fenders or no fenders

ok so i am about to cut the fenders, but dont know if i want to take the inner fenders out or not. what are yalls thoughts on it? If i took them out, i would be able to cut more of the fenders, but i hear that its nice to have them to keep mud and water out of the engine compartment i gotta fit 38x13s with only 5" of lift.

on my old K5 i cut the fenders ALOT. i fit 44's with 4" springs. i took my inner fenderwells out and moved them up. I had to relocate the battery and a couple other small things.......Hope this helps

do whatever you can to keep the inner fenders, you don't want to be slinging all that mud straight onto your motor.

No inner fenders here. A little silicon on the distributor, an outer wear on the aircleaner, and ur good to go. No it's not the best way to do it, but it worked fine for me for a while. I even pressurewashed the motor after every ride.

Look at this before your decision

I used cut-out fender flares from bushwacker on my 93 f250. They were 500$ or so. I have a 6 inch lift and just installed 38 ssr swampers with no problem. I know it is a ford and not a chevy but it would be simular.
