Im putting seats in that have the seatbelt integrated into the seat itself, so its gotta take that force if I have an accident. Ive got some square tubing that is a tad thicker than 11 gauge. Is it good/strong enuff or better? If not, what is good and is not overkill? Better to go round tube?

What are your plans with the tubing? Do the seats have the stock base?

Most conversions I've seen have the stock base with plate added either to the inside or outside of where the seats bolt through the floor for added strength.

I was thinking a straight tube across with 2 feet at the ends and maybe 1 or 2 feet on each side of the tunnel hump. All of the tubing mentioned. Ive already got the tube for this if its strong enough..

IMO, square versus round is more preference.

11 gauge = 0.120" - what size square tubing?

Last time I looked, 11 gauge was .120" and 10 gauge is .134".

I bought it indicated as 11gauge, put my calipers on it shortly after and it was thicker just a hair.
