Happy Butt?

What kind of seats do you use & do you like them?

Currently im using plastic summit seats with out the cover......they really are ok for short rides, but on longer rides i really dont like them.

Im thinking of going with these in my next rig

Has anyone ever seen these or spent any ride time in a set?

The price cant be beat compared to beard/PRP and other similar seats.

I've yet to find any as comfy as the factory Ford ones that come in the E series Vans. Lots of suspension built into them, and easy enough to get in and out of. If I could ever find an aftermarket seat that felt that good, I'd buy them.

I'm not quite to the point of replacing seats, but be sure and give us a review of those if you get them. The ones in the XJ suck. And that's putting it nicely.

You obviously havent sat in the same ones I have. The seats in an 06 work van I had were horrible. After about 30 minutes my back was killing me. Got a chevy van after that and I could ride all day.

I've got some from a newer pontiac sunfire (cavalier) in the s10 and they are pretty comfortable. They have pretty good side support, but still have enough room for fat people to ride.

That is a good price. What did they cost to ship to you? I can get Corbeau Baja SS for $318 shipped to the door.

I think it was around $330 for 2 shipped to my door. About 1/2 what it would cost for a set of Baja SS seats.

Dang, thats a VERY good deal. I could have even saved on shipping as im in Colorado Springs fairly often.

Guess i should have shopped a little more before i ordered.

Shipping killed the deal on several seats i looked at.

Did a "happy butt" check on the new seats today. I think they are about 10x better than what i have been sitting in.
Truth be known,I think i should have got the "wide mouth" version as i fit good in these seats today, but next winter after hibernating it may be a snug fit.

I guess it's a good thing I've got suspension built into my ***. None of these seats "accomodate" us big un's.

44" is better than a lot of them though... and it looks like the hip area isn't so built out that they might be comfortable once you squeeze into them.

That's why I ordered the Corbeau Ultra SS fat *** seats. Big Tex has a set in his buggy and they fit nice. Not that I'm a fat *** or anything.
