Soft Top Stains

I have a used jeep bikini top I would eventually like to use. The plan is to have it over the bed area to provide a little shade for a third passenger.
My problem is that its stained pretty bad. Mostly red mud stain that a power washer wont phase.

Is there a secret you jeepers use on doors and soft tops to "clean" up? Or should I give up and live with a little red tint?

Hey man, I use this "super cleaner" to clean just about everything...It works like a mild acid...I usually dilute it with alot of water for lighter duty material though and let it work in for a little while(Like 5-10 min) and clean it with a good brush..rinse the crap out of it with water to get all the cleaner off...Id be sure to test it on a less visable area first and see how it reacts..

I clean my tires, brake dust on rims, dirty parts like t-cases, and even concrete and garage floors are some of the things Ive used it on...It may work for you and you can find it at walmart...

What color is the top? If it is black, I think this stuff would probably work pretty well..

They make a cleaner for soft tops but last time I checked it was stupid high.
Try Jessie's idea!

Are you trying to make your jeep look perdy!

Nah, water and soap wont cut it if it got on there wet and then baked on from the sun...Id wet that top down real good and go after it with that cleaner...Might even clean it at a car wash with that cleaner and then blast it with the high pressure washer...I bet it will look new again...
