It should bolt right up as long as the frame mounts are the same.

The frame might be a little different, but it shouldnt be too hard to fab something to make it fit if needed.

What kind of truck?

The few trucks that I have bought , and I am assuming you mean a 3/4 or 1 ton, the big three just slip the beds off of these trucks......

SA K5 makes a good point......

if you are asking if a short bed will go where a long bed was......it is not a direct bolt up, but as 4x4 said you could make it work...

again specifics would help greatly....

help us help you

You need to check the cab to axle measurement of the truck.

I think there are 3 different ones.
The closest one will leave a small gap between the bed & cab.
There is a company that makes a filler panel for it, but I cant recall the name.
