1986 Land Cruiser seeks love and attention

Howdy-

I just bought my dream car -- an 1986 FJ. I need some recommendations for a shop in the Houston metropolitan area that specializes in old Land Cruisers. It needs some general maintenance and I am hoping to make some improvements such as paint, upholstery, etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jeeps are for girls
And guys that wish they were girls.....

Automatic transmissions are gay.

Flipped up tow mirrors are the sagging pants of the truck world.

Sorry I read your post and was thinking land rover not land cruiser, It may be worth calling them anyway, they can normally get specialty parts for most vehicles.

Thanks -- I guess I failed to mention that I am a recovering soccer mom, single parent and business owner. AAAaaah! Don't think I can fix it myself -- but maybe I am selling myself short. :-)

I think they're between New Braunfels & San Marcos on the Northbound side of 35. I always like swinging by to stare at their lot of probably 40 FJs on the way back from the river.
