Howdy!

New to Texas, and new to having a dedicated offroad rig. I've always only had my daily driver, but finally the time has come to get something to play with. I'm originally from Maine, and motorcycles have always been my thing, but I decided to give offroading a try!

It's not much compared to what alot of you have, but at least it's something to play with.

It's an 87 samurai on a crappy calmini lift, webber carb, and 35s when I bought it, 10k winch. Since then i've gutted it down to the basics, 6.5:1 transfer case gears, twinsticked, subaru master cylinder upgrade, and lincoln locked the rear. Lately just been trying to un-hack all the things people have done to it over the years. The ol 1.3 is pretty tired and smokey, but it'll have to do for now. I could have bought a cooler or more capable rig, but I decided to spend 1/2 the budget on a Lincoln Precision Tig. I figured it would come in handy during the build process.

My other money pit is my daily driver... 03 Duramax with the usual gofast goodies...EFI Live, Suncoast trans/ML torque converter, 4" turbo back into stacks, cp3, injectors, all the usual gauges, kryptonite tierods, and a modded 8" fabtech lift. somewhere around 8 in the back, 10 or so in the front. Alot of people hate on the stance, and Fabtech, but for a daily driven, 85% pavement pounder, I've been extremely happy with it, especially how well it rides.

The next thing it to find a trailer to haul the samurai with!
