Thanks everyone, I plan on being home the 1st of December for a few weeks and be headed to Clayton with the Aggie bunch the 15th - 17th (the weekend after finals). Hopefully try to get a day trip in the weekend before to test out the junk.

Will do, I'll make sure they get better than their 3 hots and a cot.

Great, but was no room, so I think they are in 20 man tents, have cots, maybe AC, not sure on that one, patrols are lasting so long, I don't think they get to many hot meals. None of this is your fault , of course. I send lots of jerky and stuff, just hoping he survies in that area and Sadr city, not to friendly in that slum. You take care of yourself.

Sure:

Swift Scott G
A 1-17 Inf Reg
Apo AE 09378

Or you can put
Any soldier
A 1-17 etc.

Thanks for the request. These guys were ready to go home ( 12 months over) when an extension was ordered for another 4 months.. Pretty hard on a lot of the guys, but they happen to believe in what they are doing over there. They were moved from Mosel area to Baghdad, not enough room, in the containers, so they got tents for the remainder of their 4 months. All the stuff I send is snack related, gun cleaning things, those little non sweet tea deals to dump in the treated water, so it doesn't taste so bad. All my once read 4x4 mags. just that kind of stuff. Shipping , I use the Priority shipping box, free at PO, plus you have to fill out a short custom form with who it's going to, your return, what's in it, regardless of what it is, just put hygine items or reading material. Forgive me Fourwheeler Jeff. Cost is 8.50 for all you can put in this one box. PO is in charge of it until New York, then goes over to the army to get to Baghdad area. All the guys in this group share any excess, so if anyone does send anything, they will be really surprised and happy. I would put a little note in the box, saying you support the group in there extended stay in the sandbox or something, so they will know why the box of stuff arrived.
Well that's more than long enough, from me. One thing I really like about this board, is support for the military. Oh, no pork items or liquids.
