First post
Hello everybody, I have just finished mechanicaly restoring a 69 Bronco. Now all I need is a paint job. I would like to find a group in the Fort Worth Texas area that goes on day, weekend or vacation trips to offroad locations. I am not a 4x4 competitor and I only use it for non-damaging access to remote locations. (Speed kills older vehicles) Can anyone give me a source of people that might do this in my area? Thanks, J. P.

Welcome. I'm pretty new around here too. Those first generation broncos are very nice. What engine do you have in it? I'm not too far from Ft. Worth either.

Good morning all. A bit of clarification seems in order considering some comments. I have owned this 69 Bronco since 1969. It is in EXCELLENT mechanical condition due to the fact that when I go off road I creep over obsticles, not charge over them. That being said, this vehicle has been down to the tip of South America and back. It has been all over the Big Bend area, in the swamps in Florida and in the badlands of Arizona. It has pulled a military Hummer out of the soup on Fort Hood in Killen. I ove to get off road. I bow hunt and it has been everywhere from swamps to jungle to dessert. HURAH!!

An original 302 and it also has an 8000 lb Warn Winch. A very unusual feature, it has a factory front bench seat. I have been told they were not available in the United States. This vehichle was shipped direct from the factory to the Canal Zone and also has kilometers on the speedometer.
