Hello all!

I am a Louisiana boy so don't flame me to much! I have been wheeling on and off for 10 years now. I have always been into mud trucks but that always seems to tare up more stuff then I can afford.

In 2004 I started playing with RC Crawlers and from the RC Crawlers I got hooked on 1:1 crawling big time! I have had a few 73 to 87 Chevy trucks on 1 ton axles and 40 inch tires nothing to write home about....

Here is one of my current trucks I am wanting to swap in a GM 5.3 or 6.0 I just can't make up my mind.

I bought this truck off of a guy down in south Florida is was just to clean to pass up. The truck has a D60/14 Bolt, TH400, NP 205, 4:56 gears with lockers in both diffs, rear disk brakes and a lot more to go a long with all those good parts. The owner before me put just about everything that ORD makes for these trucks on this one.

The truck is to clean to cut up so it will get some light trail used and crawling. I am going to add two inchs of lift and some 37 inch BFG KM2 tires but I want to keep the old man sleeper 1/2ton look.

Oh yeah. Just so used to saying blazer. Not to many jimmys around, especially that clean. You shouldn't have a problem selling your truck. It's really clean and has all the right parts on it.

I hope you are right, when I say it doesn't have a/c people run from the truck like it has the plague. A/C is what's wrong with the U.S. today.

Well. I have run the 6.0 in a Jeep YJ. The 5.3's are cheaper to buy. But, the 6.0 has more torque. Which will help in a heavy rig like the Jimmy.
I wish I had put a 6.0 in my new rig. But, that is a whole other story.
The Jimmy really looks good!
