hello from the hillcountry

I just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the Hillcountry between San Antonio and Austin. I am on the hunt for anther 4x4. I am not a hardcore 4x4 er. I am trying to find more of a Parking Lot Beauty Queen. I figured this would be a good place to learn more about the 4x4s and find parts and upgrades.
Dont get me wrong, I am not scared to get dirty. Just not out to build a super rock crawler or anything.

found my new ride

I found and bought her today. I picked up a 1994 Chevy z71 stepside. 6" procomp lift, rims, and 35" tires. It does still have the stock gear :{.
Anyway, now I know what parts to be looking for.

I am thinking of going with some better 35x16,gears some day, and a fiberglass tonneau cover.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
