Automatic transmissions are gay.

Welcome to the board. To answer your question a K10 is gm's code for a 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup. Silverado was a trim package level in 1985. A 1/2 ton 2wd would be a C10. A 4x4 blazer is a K5. 3/4 ton trucks are K or C 20's and the 1 tons are K or C 30's. These codes ended in the late 80's when GM went to the 1500, 2500, and 3500 codes. Hope this helps you a little. Good luck on your first truck, take your time and do lot's of looking and learning before you buy!!!

It will fit a K10 Silverado. Make sure to get before and after pics, I sure wish I had done it! Post up some current pics of the truck.

Welcome.
Mike

c = 2WD
k = 4WD
their is a difference. Don't order a "C" lift...you will end up with a 2WD kit at your door step.
